How appointment texts work

Sky Nails And Lounge texts customers about appointments they have booked: a confirmation, a reminder the day before, and a notice if we have to move or cancel it. Never marketing. Texts are not a condition of booking — reply STOP and your appointment stays booked.

Booking online

Booking at our booking page is five steps on one page:

  1. Choose your services.
  2. Choose a technician, or anyone available.
  3. Choose a time.
  4. Enter your first name and mobile number. The text-message disclosure sits directly under the phone number field, before you continue.
  5. Confirm the booking.

Step 4, exactly as it appears on the booking page:

Who's coming in?

Booking by phone

Call us at (832) 617-8558. Our automated receptionist books the appointment on the number you are calling from — asking us to book you on that number is how you opt in to that appointment's texts.

The first text you receive is that booking's confirmation, sent within seconds of the call. It names the salon, your appointment and the time, and it ends “Reply STOP to opt out.”

“Hi [First name] - you are booked at Sky Nails And Lounge for [Day, Month Date] at [Time]. [Services]. Call us if you need to change it. Reply STOP to opt out.”

Your appointment stays booked whether or not you keep the texts.

Stopping texts, and getting help

  • Reply STOP to any text to stop them. We send one message confirming it, and then nothing more. Your appointment stays booked.
  • Reply HELP for help, or call us at (832) 617-8558.
  • About two texts per appointment. Message and data rates may apply.
  • We never share your number or your consent to texts with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
